Job Role: Volunteer & Support Coordinator (based in Blackpool)

Hours: 15-20 hours per week, to be worked Monday to Friday (core hours 10am-3.30pm)

Temporary 6-month position, subject to review of satisfactory performance and continued funding availability.

Salary: £9 per hour. Annual salary pro rata to £16,893 per annum paid monthly, in arrears.

A motivated and effective administrator with good IT skills and the ability to undertake the lead role in managing and supporting our volunteers who provide advice and guidance to claimants in welfare benefit claims.

Managing work rotas, co-coordinating and delivering effective recruitment and training programmes, working creatively to attract and increase the capacity of our volunteer workforce from across the Fylde Coast.

Ability to provide advice, supervision and support to volunteers in carrying out their duties and ensuring accurate and auditable record systems are in place.

Are you able to deliver successful strategies for the retention of volunteers, be an effective communicator to ensure volunteers are engaged, feel supported and fulfilled and encourage team building and have a genuine motivation to provide support to others.
